Mr. Chinh H. Pham
Of Counsel Chair, Nanotechnology Practice of the Intellectual Property Department, Greenburg Traurig

Mr. Pham heads Greenberg Traurig's nanotechnology practice. He is a registered patent attorney with particular experience in the strategic creation, implementation, and protection of intellectual property rights for high technology and life science clients. Mr. Pham represents and counsels technology clients, start-ups as well as established companies, including those in the areas of nanotechnology, medical devices, electro-mechanical arts, telecommunications, biotechnology, and pharmaceuticals. In his practice, Mr. Pham advises clients on the creation and development of patent portfolios through the preparation and filing of patent applications, as well as the acquisition and exploitation of intellectual property rights through licensing and strategic collaboration agreements. Mr. Pham assists his start-up clients with strategies for leveraging their IP portfolio for high-value commercial opportunities, introducing them to funding sources, either through the venture community or the government, as well as identifying and establishing for these clients strategic alliances with industry leaders. Mr. Pham’s practice also involves the evaluation of both client and competitor portfolios, and preparation of validity, non-infringement, and freedom-to-operate opinions.
