This conference brings distinguished researchers in the nanotechnology field together with people with expertise in funding, technology transfer, and the protection of intellectual property. The objective is to bring knowledge creators before an audience of investors and industry to stimulate opportunities in the commercial exploitation of nanotechnology. The Brown Forum for Enterprise would also like to foster the establishment of a nanotech center of excellence in Rhode Island, and this event will serve to associate people in the nanotech field and allow for discussion regarding opportunities for growth.
