The world of energy is changing dramatically. People are realizing the indisputable need for alternative energy sources and innovative techniques for producing, manufacturing, and distributing energy. This conference will feature exciting new technologies from throughout Southern New England that are paving the way for a sustainable energy future characterized by an increased utilization of renewable sources, such as solar, wind, wave, and tidal power. The conference will also showcase cutting-edge technologies in various areas of alternative fuel, such as natural gas, biodiesel, ethanol, and hydrogen.
Small businesses, startup companies, and university researchers will have the opportunity to present their innovations to a diverse audience and a “green” investor panel. Also, we will hear from venture capitalists about current investment trends in this space and why clean and sustainable technologies offer tremendous opportunity for lucrative start-up companies. The presentations will be followed by a poster session during which numerous progressive technologies from regional universities, established companies, and young ventures will be displayed. At the same time, attendees will be able to take advantage of a constructive networking reception.
