The Rhode Island Business Plan Competition seeks to promote entrepreneurship and the development of start-up and early stage companies in Rhode Island.
The winners of the 2006 Rhode Island Business Plan Competition will be announced at this special Brown Forum for Enterprise event. In addition, all six finalists will present their plans briefly to the audience. A celebratory cocktail and hors d'oeuvres reception will follow, and all six finalists will display a poster describing their business plans during the reception. Attendance is free of charge and pre-registration online is required.
The winners from each of the 2 tracks (Entrepreneur track and Student track) will receive the following prize:
- $25,000 cash
- $20,000 in legal services
- $10,000 in accounting services
- $2,500 in VC consulting services
