Prohibited items are not allowed on board NUWC Division Newport, and will be confiscated.

Prohibited items include:

• Contraband (e.g., controlled substances)
• Dangerous weapons
• Alcoholic beverages
• Gambling equipment
• Obscene, seditious or espionage material
• Firearms
• Citizens band or amateur radio equipment
• Photographic equipment or recording devices (this includes cell phones that take photos)
• Promotional material relating to controlled substances
• Pets

In order to obtain a vehicle pass from Security, you must have:

•  a valid Visit Request on file; 
• a valid drivers license; 
• proof of insurance;
• valid vehicle registration (in your name) ; and
• vehicle rental agreement (if applicable).

Once you have obtained a vehicle pass and your name badge, you may drive your car through gate 23. You will be given a map indicating where to park for the event.

CELL PHONES OR ANY DEVICE WITH PHOTOGRAPHIC/RECORDING CAPABILITY ARE ABSOLUTELY PROHIBITED. THESE DEVICES MAY BE LEFT IN BUILDING 80 FOR PICK-UP FOLLOWING THE EVENT.
