The mission of the Brown Forum for Enterprise is to foster a culture
of innovation and enterprise within Rhode Island and to be a focus
for entrepreneurship activity within the state and region.
 
 

Important information for poster participants:

• Please put your poster up in the Rotunda Room between 12:30 – 4:00 P.M. (facility map is available on www.brownforum.org – click on the February conference)

• Your poster should be able to stand up on an easel on its own (no pushpins allowed)

• Minimum poster width is 2 feet

• The font should be large enough to read from a distance

• All participants must email a brief abstract (no more than 300 words) of the poster presentation to Victoria_Barbata@Brown.edu by February 10, 2006

• The themes of the conference include translational research and commercialization pathways for technologies, so please stress the applied aspects of your research in your poster presentation (i.e., market, competitive advantages, etc.)

• Research and technologies should be discussed in lay terms and should mention broader impacts for society (i.e., enhancement of human health)

• Companies presenting a poster should be prepared to address an audience comprised of investors and prospective partners

• Poster presenters may attend the conference free of charge (limit 2 individuals per poster)
